Lab Members recognized at Electrical Engineering's End of Year Party
The Department of Electrical Engineering held its annual ‘end of year party’ on 19 May, 2011. The Recognition Award ceremony was the centerpiece of the celebrations, where over achieving members of the department were recognized and awarded gifts.

The Department of Electrical Engineering held our annual ‘end of year party’ on May 19th 2011. Amongst the many Celebration’s was the ‘Recognition Award Ceremony’, where we recognized and awarded gifts to our over achievers! The event was enjoyed by all who attended! The following students from Photonics Lab were acknowledged:
M.Sc. Student, Yasser Khan for achieving first position at the PSE poster session, Graduate Research Symposium, and Best Poster award WEP 2011.
Ph.D. Student, Damian San Roman for his Masters GPA at KAUST
MS Thesis Student, Rami Elafandy for achieving a high GPA.
PhD Student, Mohammed Zahed Khan for winning the best paper award at Photonics Global Conference (PGC).
